Hungry before a show at Riverbend we stumbled upon Dead Low Brewing and were so grateful that we did! We loved it so much we returned this winter while in Cincy again. But listen. Don't let the name fool you - it's not just a brewery - there in also lies a scratch kitchen and the food is FIRE. Food: My husband gets the wings (Rosie style, maybe?) every time. First visit I had the Shrimp Naan. YUM. We have also tried the pickle chips, brussels sprouts, and the fish and chips. All solid. Drink wise, the beers were all pretty good. We also visited on a Sunday and they had some kind of bourbon special going on - so that was cool to get to try a few pours! We have had the best service at each visit - Brian at the bar and our server Kati really made the experience extra great. The space is expansive but doesn't feel too huge. The focal point is the bar that you can sit around, but there is a lot of other table seating. We want to try the patio seating once the weather cooperates, too. We will definitely return in the future!

Happy to update this place to a 5 star. Beers are much better than when they opened and the food has been excellent. On our most recent visit, Javier was our server and was spot on with recommendations and just a fun experience all around. Thanks Javier!

This place was hoping but we were seated immediately. Our service was great. The food was good. The place is much larger than it looks from the outside. The menu was also larger than I expected... lots of options. It was a hot day before a concert down the road so I opted for the salad. We also had pretzels and beer cheese. Overall - a solid place that I hope to visit again soon.

For years my Mr and I been wanting to check this place out. We passed so many times and finally on a Saturday afternoon we decided to check it out. The inside is open, decor and pictures of our city, plant friendly and love the lighting. They have outdoor seating as well. We sat at the bar because we weren't sure if we were going to try the food but ended ordering at the end. They brew their own beers in house. You can enjoy their six pack to go or take home a growler. We decided to start off with a flight. Enjoyed it so much that we ended up ordering more. You can choose your size or beer. 3 oz, 10 oz and 16 oz. We ordered: Asle Lebanese wit Lagos Scandinavian Farmhouse ale Dad Pop juicy IPA Mocha My Day imperial mocha stout Dead Low American Lager Umbra Schwarzbier Pickling And Grinning pickle sour Black Phillip doppelbock Fenix Mexican lager The Viper IPA Personally my favorite was the sour. It's literally drinking pickle juice. Their lager is smooth and refreshing. Honestly I we didn't have a bad beer. All were different and good. We stayed there a couple of hours and got hungry so we thought we would try their food. Their menu had starters, pizzas (you can also get gluten free), handhelds, kids, soups, sandwiches, fish and chips and wings. Food: Carolina dry wings Cheese pizza 8" Wow! The dry rubbed wings was amazing! Had great flavor and the pizza was amazing l. The crust had Parmesan and seasoned. I love their pizza sauce! It wasn't bland. Overall what a great experience. I can see us coming back. Great atmosphere, beers and food.

This is another one of those spot my lady and I drove by many times thinking, "We should go there sometime." And of course, we finally did, and also wished we had sooner. I'm always a geek for a good local brewery, and after our experience here, this is definitely a really good one. Great service, tasty brews, a laid back atmosphere, and really good food. My lady and I stopped by around 3pm on a Saturday just for a few drinks at first. We sat at the bar which is very nice and spacious. This place has more seating than I thought there would be, both inside and outside, and it's all crammed together. They have their beers in 3oz, 10oz, and 16oz pours. They also sell growlers and 6 packs for some. We started with four 3oz beer pours to try a few things; Lagom Scandanavian Farmhouse ale, Asle Lebanese Wit ale, Dad Pop juicy IPA, and Mocha My Day imperial mocha stout. We really enjoyed all the brews. My lady liked the balance of the flavors of the farmhouse ale. Then we had a couple pints, I had the Umbra Schwarzbier and my lady had the Pickling and Grinning pickle sour ale. We both liked those as well and were very pleasantly surprised by the pickle ale. Around that time, we started getting hungry, so we scoped out their food menu. The menu was pretty big and had lots of pub grub options. My lady decided on an 8" cheese pizza while I went for some Carolina dry rub wings. Obviously we had another round of brews, she got the Fenix Mexican lager and I got the Viper IPA. The wait was a litte longer because this place gets very busy before concerts at Riverbend nearby. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. I would say this is one of the better local breweries we've been to in a bit. We liked all the beers we had, liked the atmosphere, and really liked how close it is to where we live. Not sure if I'd come here again before a concert on a weekend but I could see is coming back for sure.

Great meal! I ordered the gluten free pizza with vegan cheese. The waitress was very conscientious and let me know that there is milk powder in the gf crust since she noticed I ordered vegan cheese. That nearly made my whole experience - it's rare for waiters to take the extra step to make sure allergies and preferences are accommodated to. You also can switch out a gluten free bun or roll to any sandwich. The man who was at the hostess stand originally told us that he just seated "a hundred people" and that the food would come out late.. but it didn't at all which is good. Not sure why that was said. But it was fun eating outside and the tables seemed clean! Will be back!

Nice low-key atmosphere. They offer a full menu along with their house brewed beers. We went on trivia night and the place was full. The beer I tried - a Coney Island Baby Mexican Lime Lager was very refreshing.

We decided to try out Dead Low before a concert at Riverbend. Their menu looked good and it was close by, but I'd previously heard good things about the place. We were able to get seated right away. The space is pretty big and open and there's a large outdoor area. It had been raining that day, so they weren't seating anyone outside. Our server was quick to come over and get our drink orders. He did a great job checking in on us throughout. We ordered nachos with chicken to start (delicious and a massive amount!), my husband ordered some wings (HUGE!) and I ordered a gluten free pizza. I wasn't sure what to expect with the pizza, but wow was it really, really good. They make their own sauce and whatever magic they put into this pizza makes me crave it already. My husband doesn't have to be gluten free and he said "Are you sure this is gluten free? It's so good!" haha The wings had fantastic flavor (went with buffalo) and they're massive. I can't speak to their beer personally, but husband said it was good. We will definitely be back here!
